Why we built this

Over 52 billion spam calls hit US phones every year. The solutions available all share a common flaw: they work by uploading your call data to their own servers to cross-reference against spam databases. That means every call you receive — including the legitimate ones — flows through someone else's infrastructure.

We built Call Vault because we wanted something that actually works and never uploads your contacts, calls, or texts. All call blocking and text filtering runs on your device using your phone's own built-in screening — your contacts, call history, and block list never leave your phone. Community reporting of non-contact numbers you block is on by default (you can turn it off in Settings); those reports are digits-only, and your call history and contacts are never included.

For some users, call blocking isn't just about annoyance — it's about safety. Private icon mode and Duress PIN exist because some situations require more than a simple block list.

No dark patterns

Founder's Access: for a limited time, new users on Android or iPhone get 1 month of Premium free on the annual plan, plus a permanent price lock. Google Play requires a payment method to start any subscription, so you add one to claim it — but nothing is charged for 1 month, and you can cancel before then. Who we are

Call Vault is a product of Sage Mode, LLC, a software company based in the United States. Sage Mode, LLC owns and operates the Call Vault app and the getcallvault.app website.

We're a small, independent team that actually uses the app every day. Call Vault is built, designed, and maintained in-house — we never upload your contacts, calls, or texts, and no investors are pushing us to compromise on privacy or fair pricing.
